Hi Ian,
Many thanks to all of you for last night. It was an excellent night in every respect culminating in the dancing. It was lovely to see so many people on the floor and to have the caller to keep us on the right track rather than have complete chaos!
There’s always been a debate about the dancing going on until late but last night I think people would have stayed on longer! I’ve never seen so many people stay until the end.
You all put your heart and soul into the music and it was all so enjoyable.

I know this is a little late in coming but I have to say a great big thank-you to you and The Celebration Band – they were terrific!
Their performance was enjoyed by everyone and I know I can speak for Julie as well when I say they excelled. The musicians were superb and the dancing would not have been as much fun without the character and enthusiasm of the caller A top nights entertainment from a top band!

Ralph and I want to thank the Celebration Band for helping to make our party on Saturday such a success. You were terrific. The quality of the music was wonderful, and we appreciate how you responded to our guests, pitching everything at a pace that suited us. Thanks too for accommodating our requests, including break time and dances (even if I was hopeless at the couples dance).
We will happily recommend you to others, and who knows, maybe we’ll have another big party sometime….

Just thought you would like to know what a great time everybody had on Saturday, the celebration band were fantastic, totally made the night, the caller, Colin was great going through everything for everybody, so even though most had never done the dances before they still got stuck in, it was just a shame the dance floor wasnt bigger!! My sincere apologies that it has taken me so long to contact you to say the biggest thanks for such a wonderful party on 30th May. Everyone loved your playing, we’ve received so many compliments on your behalf, both on the night and since. We wanted an evening of excellent music and entertainment that everyone could get involved in, and you certainly gave us that! Richard and I knew from your demo CD that you were good, but you even beat our expectations.
You gave us all a fabulous party that topped a perfect day. We can not thank you enough.

I write to you to thank so much for sourcing the “Celebration Band” to play at our Barn Dance on the 20th March 2010.
This was the first function of this sort that we have organised at school and it was with great trepidation that I contacted you and later booked the Band. Being initially worried about the cost and being a small school, concerned as to whether I would cover my costs, we managed to get 86 people to attend. The evening was fantastic – the Caller was great – accommodating, friendly and encouraging. The Band were excellent – we were all swept away with the music and a good time was had by all.

What a fabulous night. The band and caller were excellent. So glad I chose them.
They had to prize some people off their seats – but we got there in the end and they did managed to get everyone up on the dance floor for the last dance. Once they were up – there was no stopping them. Many of them have never been to a ceilidh before and said it was better than a disco. I have to agree!
I have had several people report back what a fantastic night it was and how they haven’t had so much fun in ages. Even the older relatives – said how much they enjoyed just sitting and listening to the band and laughing at the dancers.
My father managed to make it in the end too and all of Sunday he just kept saying what a good night it was. My mother in law who was sat nearest to the stage has also sent a card to say how much she enjoyed herself – although she was unable to dance.
My husband invited some of his biker mates – and they had a whale of a time – despite having to get up at 5:40am to ride to the Ace Cafe.
The band members were really lovely, I can’t thank you enough. They were just sooooo great.
I shall remember the evening always.

Can I ask you to pass on our thank you to the band for a really great evenings entertainment and a really fun end to our wedding day! We absolutely loved the ceilidh, we thought the band and the caller did an extremely good job not being too loud and giving us little breaks every so often to recover from the exertions. Everyone we spoke too thought that they were excellent and we even got Henry’s gran up to dance for the last dance of the evening! So thank you very much.

We just wanted to thank you, Yvonne, Peter and Rachel for a fantastic night last Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and looking at the photos there are so many happy, smiling, laughing faces it is clear that everyone else did as well.
We have had lots of thank you emails for the party and many people have commented on how good the band was.
Looking back on the night, it is difficult to think of anything that could have gone better – other than it lasting twice as long. There is no doubt that Anne had a birthday to remember.
