The Celebration Dance Band: for your Barn Dance, Ceilidh, Wedding or Party. Based in Nottingham Derbyshire and Leicestershire but willing to travel.

Some of Britain’s top country dance musicians playing lively and catchy music with a great caller able to provide dances for both experienced dancers and absolute beginners.

The band plays a wide range of folk dance music or can tailor on request to Scottish, English, Irish or American.

The core band consists of three musicians playing accordion, mandola, fiddle guitar and bass. It can be expanded to include drums, sax, keyboards, banjo or whistles. A high-quality p.a. system is also provided.

All callers who work with the band are skilled and experienced and booked to fit the audience from absolute beginners to specialised and experienced. Whatever the level, the emphasis is always on enjoyment and having fun. Several are able to provide workshops and have worked with schools to introduce young people to folk dance.
